Melinda Johnson
Melinda is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is dual licensed in Oregon and Georgia. She moved to Central Oregon from GA where she worked as a clinical supervisor at Piedmont Counseling Services. During this time, she provided supervision and clinical oversight to 32 therapists and counselors, and provided services to individuals, couples, and families.
Melinda graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and an associate degree in psychology. She has three adult children, a 15-year-old and four grandchildren.
She currently resides in Central Oregon with her husband of 38 years, Retired SFC Army veteran and their youngest daughter, who has been in love with the snow in Oregon. Melinda looks forward to assisting you and your family to accomplish the goals which leads to a meaningful life.

In Loving Memory
My practice is named in honor of my seven-year-old granddaughter Autumn, who I affectionately refer to as “My Pea in the Pod”. She died tragically in a car accident in 2017. In her short life she embodied such a love for life, family, celebration and community. Using various models of psychotherapy, I strive to honor her memory by providing the opportunity for individuals, couples and families to experience love, joy, happiness and meaning; which is possible after the pain and suffering of trauma and tragedy.
